So, it's a pretty vast title but my question is rather focused. The situation is not, however.
I'm currently in the process of trying to book a session with a rather known WG. I'll evaluate her as soon as the session is done, but the process is pretty hectic.
I first called her last friday. Meeting planned at 11. Perfect. I've got about 1 hr to prepare. But moments before I leave, I get this text. "Is 11:15 ok ?" Yep, of course. flexible, not on a tight schedule, I live just next to her appartment, so no big deal.
Moments before leaving for the second time, this new text.
- Sorry hun, I have to cancel and won't be available the whole day.
- Well... OK. Will you be available tomorrow ?
- Yes. I'll offer you a discount.
All right. In french I'd say something like "I'll put it on my ear and smoke it later". Compared to an unsmoked cigarette... If anyone has a nice english way to describe this sexual frustration and unsatisfied envy, I'll take it.
So, 1 phone call and 1 txt on saturday, nothing. The same sunday... Damn me. Should change my plans (read "girl"), but no way, she's got good reviews and her pictures, videos and voice work for me. She's the one I want to have fun with next.
Comes monday. opening hour stated at 10am, I try my luck at 9:30am. Yes, she answers.

- Yep.
- So, you had talked about a discount ?
- Yep, 10 bucks less (out of a 140 / 45 minutes meeting).
- Cool, thanks.
I would have paid the full price without hesitation, so something is better than nothing.
This time, it's me who gets a short trouble. Text, 10:30 arranged. I actually leave. And arrive. 5 minutes walk.
Mmmm, really pretty in person. Getting aroused ! But she seems to be in a hurry and on the go... You know, packing quickly all her stuff in a bag.
- I'm soo soorry, I have to leave. I just received a phone call. My kid is sick.
- Well, ok.

Yes, I know. And seriously, what else could I say. This is a perfectly valid reason. It's all about understanding people's boundaries. This was the case.
But hell, it starts to burn, down there ! However, sometimes it will just not work. And I can't even imagine cuddling with a lady who's got this on her mind. No way.
- Will you be available tomorrow ?
- Yes. Definitely yes (really convincing).
- Cool.
Then, I've called her today. Finally, we've aranged a meeting tomorrow. I took one hour instead of 45 minutes. I'll be glad to get some extra time after all the waiting. 10NZD discount still applies.
And then I wonder.
I've never ever discussed a lady's price. If it's displayed, I know what I'm doing. If not, I call and either accept or refuse it (and usually, it's a first red flag). I wouldn't like my hourly wages to be discussed. They often are without reason by people who don't understand anything in my job, and it pisses me off.
However, sometimes there's a place for negociation. Things are not all black or white. I can get late on some tasks, or wait for my employer to give me the info I need to keep working. When this happens, we try to find an arrangement for everyone. And it usually works well.
So, I'll go tomorrow. I'll pay the price. But am I a jerk thinking that if a 10 bucks discount out of 140 was really nice for a phone cancellation while I was still at my place, a little more than these same 10 $ would be logical when I'm as far as meeting her at her place, then leave without bitching, then book again and for an even longer time ?
